If I recall hearing correctly, he was brought in by Carlos Mouriño, the long-standing previous president of Celta Vigo, who just retired over a week ago. His daughter, Marián Mouriño is now the current president. It seems like they just couldn’t find an agreement to continue their partnership with Campos sitting between two clubs.
