  1. > It is also no longer a punishable offence to beat a person without causing injury based on their sexual orientation or gender identity

That’s a bit much,no? Can they do that, or is this some outstanding bs journalism?

  2. A reminder that nothing is guaranteed and all rights can be revoked. Never be complacent.

  3. Well, that sounds like a bullshit decision.

    “It’s ok to be X.”

    “Cool. I’m X!”

    “Changed my mind.”

    “Woah; wait a minute now!”

  4. And this, kids, is why right-wingers should never be left in government. Ever.

  5. *Under the reform, discriminating against workers based on their sexual orientation or gender identity is no longer a punishable offence.*

Well, my days of getting increasingly scared of the political development on this continent are certainly coming to a middle.

  6. This article is mostly nonsense. The law is mostly about a) assuring children with gender dysphoria have access to psychological treatment (radical extremists are claiming this is “conversion therapy” because they want kids to go straight into hormones and surgery) b) inverting the burden of proof in transgender discrimination – due to a blatantly inconstitucional super-populist law that up to this point places the burden of proof on anyone accused of discriminating transgenders.

  7. Keep supporting Palestine, Spain, and this is just the beginning.

  8. Sometimes I wish to be able to see the actual changes in the law.

  9. A lot of unhinged comments here. There is no “trans genocide”. The world goes on, folks.

  10. That sounds really random. Is there any context here? Did they just woke up today, and thought “screw it, we’re revoking LGBT laws today”?
