  7. I guess, if I was the officer, I would be afraid to give these guys guns and grenades, too.

    These guys should just revolt and take the fight back to russia and putin’s regime. Whether they fight in Ukraine or russia, the outcome isn’t a comfortable life either way, but they may actually live if they fight the real bad guys in russia, or at least die in their own homeland and have a proper burial. Importantly, no innocent lives will be lost.

  12. You can only tell them for so long that they’re not going to end up as stormtroopers. At some point it becomes common knowledge that you’re not called to arms because they somehow ran out of territorial defense, logistics or coastguard personnel. Still no end of the Russian ability to mobilize men in sight, not that it should be expected anytime soon, but there are still new lows in the morale of the mobilized men to be explored.
