  1. I’m pretty sure the constitution is considered inappropriate reading to police.

  2. To think this officer did more to apprehend a book than the Uvalde police did to apprehend a mass murderer of children.

  3. Or in china. China makes Disney edit gays out of their movies. I’m not kidding – look it up if you don’t believe me.

  4. “The Great Barrington Police opened a probe into whether the book contained “obscene or pornographic” material after an anonymous complaint, then notified the Berkshire District Attorney’s Office, as well as the school and district administrators.”

Not one idiot got online to read it for themselves. Everyone involved need to be taken out of office and public work.

  5. People of Massachusetts. Why the hell do we put up with these stupid right wing cops when we don’t have to?

  6. What is wrong with these people that they consider a kids book that just shows people dressing differently obscene?

  7. Then they wonder why a significant chunk of the populations thinks the cops are a joke.

When I was in high school (late 90’s) once or twice a year they would do a lockdown and bring a drug dog in to search lockers. So whatever class we happened to be in we couldn’t leave the room until they were done. It would take like 2-3 hours and not once did they ever find drugs or a weapon.

  8. The Massachusetts AG lets the police get away with so much in this state.

  9. The issue is in allowing the anonymous complaint. If someone is going to do facist things or make accusations they should be known to their fellow residents as well as the targrts of their complaints. Stand behind your accusations or stfu.

  10. Call about a robbery? Cops can’t help

    Get attacked? Cops can’t help

Find a book you don’t like? LOCK AND LOAD BOYS

  11. That’s how you know books aren’t really dangerous. The cop wasn’t hiding waiting for it to finish hurting the kids.

  12. I would be livid if this was my child’s school. These officers and possibly the dept should be sued.

Even if a kid had snuck a hustler magazine into school it would and should never warrant an armed police response.

  13. After an intense standoff the book surrender to the authorities.

  14. Everyone should keep LGBT books in with their valuables. Then the police might actually investigate if you get robbed

  15. Classic land of militarized swine worship. God bless America.

  16. Had a similar situation happen near me. A local police officer went to the local public school and would take down posters that were to “woke” or something. After like the 3rd time he was arrested and lost his job lol.

  17. Went thru middle school knowing other boys were sneaking in dirty magazines. Nobody was doing bag checks.

  18. So, did the principal ask to see the warrant? Was there one? What specific criminal offense(s) were alleged? From the article, an **allegedly** pornographic work was **allegedly** located in a school classroom, based on an anonymous complaint. There has been no finding that the book violated any state or federal law – and it’s readily available for review. The cop should have been told to pound sand.
