  1. How the hell is Marty McFly gonna know when to go back in time to stop ~~Putin from invading~~ the Libyans?

  2. of course, a Ukrainian woman.

One thing I have learned, Ukrainian women are just badasses.

  3. Yes b’y! I am on some of the local refugee groups on Facebook and its great to see the acceptance from the community and see things like this in return. Nice to see some positive in an otherwise awful situation.

  4. As a Canadian I’m so sorry for the reasons so many Ukrainians have to come here, but we’re so blessed to have them. Ukrainians make this country better, full stop.

  5. Did they pay her for this service? The article doesn’t mention that piece of it.

I get that now she’s setting up a new shop to fix watches and clocks, but that heritage foundation pretty much did a ‘damn would be nice if the clock worked for its 120th anniversary’ but made no effort to raise money to hire someone.

Hell this lady fixed it in a day, I’m sure there are niche clock contractors out there that could have fixed this but the city were doing the ‘thoughts and prayers’ number and got lucky.

Edit: u/RoninSolutions posted an article with more pictures and maybe they should do some ‘damn i hope someone sands and paints this fucked up trim on the front of our building’ posting; maybe a refugee will come and fix that for them as well, lmao.
