  10. One interesting things about the Russia-India trade is that it is mostly in rupees, which are only really useful if you plan to import things from India. Which is great for India, but not so much for Russia who is rapidly accumulating a wast foreign reserve of rupees since, while India produces a lot of stuff, it doesn’t produce much of the stuff that Russia needs right now, and Russia is having trouble converting it’s rupees to other more immediately useful currencies like dollars or euros.
