  6. Russians don’t actively recover their dead and while Ukraine does remove fallen Russians, those in no man’s land will be left to rot.

    When summer hits the smell and flies will be horrendous. Given the amount of rot it could lead to disease as well. Especially with spring run off into trenches..

    Hopefully though, at some point the Russians will see and the psychological effect on them will help break them mentally.

    Being assigned to the Avdiivka suicide meat waves must be demoralising af. That’s pretty much a death sentence. At nevertheless they rather do that than turn around and get rid of those people that got them into this situation in the first place…

  20. Most of these Russians are not tourists, they are now permanent residents of Ukraine.
