  1. Any enforcement is welcome but it’s not done enough to have any lasting effect.

The 30 cyclists issued FPNs in this instance is a drop in the ocean compared to the total law breaking by road users.

  2. Honestly cyclist are angels compared to the scooter nutters. It should be legal to clothesline the cunts when they are riding in the path.

  3. That’s… Much less than I expected. Not the number of cyclists breaking law (which is of course high), but the number caught

  4. Let’s stop with with this cyclist vs driver nonsence. The problem is people! Irish people don’t care about anyone but themselves anymore whether on 2 wheels 4 wheels or on foot.

This us vs them debate is really really silly.

  5. > The 30+ cyclists who were caught were issued with fixed charge penalty notices, or fines, and they were advised about their future safety on the roads.

That sounds like they were also physically threatening cyclists.

  6. Only 30 they mustn’t have been trying.

Neatly hit a cyclist dark clothes no lights what so ever. I was about to pull out of a side street. 30 euro will get a high vis and a deacent set of lights.
