  2. These players wanting to play for us won’t make our FFP any easier just because they really want to play for us.

  4. Echeverri is close to signing for man city now 😔, had high hopes that we would go for him, but financially we are very weak as compared to the likes of city and chelsea who dead set on every wonder kid these days

  5. I can’t speak for Andre, his situation is totally different. But seeing what Vitor Roque did for Barcelona to sign him, makes me appreciate him more. I hope as a result of sharing the same agent as Estevao, he will do the same as Vitor. Estevao and his father have made Barca their priority but given Palmeiras wanting to secure the valuation of Estevao and pressure him to agree to a club, it makes it harder for us, unless, again, like Vitor, he completely isolates the Barca offer. Its totally up to Estevao.

    Echeverri, I get that he probably will go to City because Barcelona cannot afford him right now and River want to sell him as soon as possible. I am disappointed in him, especially, after what Vitor Roque did. He is on his last year of his contract. If you want to join Barcelona as much as you claim, then play your cards right. Either force your hand now to River so they can negotiate with Barcelona OR wait 6 months, where you can leverage either a pre-contract agreement with Barcelona or force River to sell specifically to Barca in the summer or just leave for free in December when your contract is up.

  6. My pick is definitely Echeverri, would be a dream if he played out his contract and came on a free (december 2024) but I doubt it

  7. I really want to take a gamble on andre he is very calm in pressing situations.

The part that irritates me more, is that their is a significant portion of Barcelona fans who think Barcelona is always going to strike gold with academy products and they are as talented as the guys mentioned. Truthfully, being a fan of this club for +20 years, what we found was a golden generation, that doesn’t mean we’ll produce players all the time. Most of the time, these players shine in their debut season, then fall of the ranks and go on to have subpar careers once they leave Barca.

    I am sorry, but if you have the two most talented prospect in BOTH ARGENTINA and BRAZIL wanting to eagerly join Barcelona, you ABSOLUTELY have to go for them. Two footballing nation notoriously known for producing the highest caliber of talents, but yeah “we will stick to La Masia”, as if the most talented prospect out of La Masia wasn’t from Argentina himself.

    I get Lamine is super exciting and is the best offensive prospect we had since Bojan. Lamine is no Messi-level talent to skip out of getting Estevao. You simply have to make risky investment to receive the maximum reward.
