Quite freaked out here guys, especially as I live alone and am now away from my flat for a couple of days.

I live in a ground floor flat in London and on Tuesday I looked out the living room window and there is a hedge in front of the window and someone had dropped 5 of these bags over the hedge so it’s within the bounds of my property. I thought ok weird, picked them up but didn’t think much of it. I haven’t opened them but I think they are nuts.

Yesterday morning I find 4 more. They must have been there a bit longer than the last time as one of the bags had a hole in it and there were about 20 pigeons (I have a phobia of pigeons and mice / rats so this whole thing frightened me more). Today, 4 more bags. Whoever it is seems to be dropping them there between 7-8am

I’ve checked with my block of flats, it’s not the residents, I have lived here for 8 years, never encountered similar. I haven’t pissed anyone off in the area. Any thoughts? I’m really worried I’m guna come home in 2 days and have literally 200 pigeons outside n pray to god no rodents. Apart from stand guard and catch the person I don’t know what to do. Best scenario it’s an old lady trying to feed animals but I’m nervous it’s someone who’s a bit off the rails…..any thoughts / ideas / suggestions?!

  1. Get a motion sensor camera set up or stand guard for an hour with a book. when you see them, take their picture and tell them to do one

  3. >I have a phobia of pigeons

You are really in the wrong city.

    >someone who’s a bit off the rails

Anyone who feeds pigeons in this city has gone off the rails.

  4. Get a camera and stick it on the inside it may stop the unwanted behaviour

  5. Buy a cheap motion detecting camera off amazon, it’ll alert your phone when the next load of nuts land.

You can even talk to the nutter through the camera speakers/mic. Followed by hollering at the pigeons.

  6. Put up a large sign saying stop tossing your nut sacks on my property.
