  1. The Security Service of Ukraine has unveiled the naval drone Kozak Mamai, which, along with the Sea Baby naval drone, is disrupting the Russian Black Sea Fleet and reshaping the philosophy of naval operations.

Additionally, the SBU claimed that Mamai is currently the fastest object in the Black Sea, reaching speeds of up to 110 km/h.

  2. Jesus that’s fast! Hope the sea is like glass when they launch one to hit a Ruzzian ship. Otherwise it’ll get air borne and wreck if it’s real choppy out there with those speeds…Slava Ukraini!!

  3. Couldn’t you stick a brimstone or two on these? 40 mile range self targeting – always wondered

  4. I do naval architecture. I’m a little surprised it is not more of a deep V(I can’t see whole bottom, but the bow to side chine gives away the loss of deadrise) . That hull is what we do when worried about freeboard (I. E. It can flood or carries varying cargo), and want planing speed) I would think they would want little freeboard for stealth and deeper V (more deadrise) throughout hull length for severe weather handling, which is when you’d want to attack anyways. This hull is good for low chop and high speed.

  5. Highly doubtful. The thing would need to be as big as a speedboat.

  6. Does UKR ever use dumb, pre programmed r/c boats with enhanced radar signatures as decoys??

  7. They need to figure out how to get this thing to dive at 500m and hit the ship torpedo style. These things are so vulnerable above water.
