Hmm it’s challenging but you could try rubbing it with a soft sandpaper – to blend the fabrics, if it makes sense. I know no one has sandpaper in their house but you could buy one just to give it a try😂. Otherwise i would suggest to just take it to a cleaners service to give you any suggestions or tell you if the damage is indeed irreversible and they can help you. If these options are exhausted and there is no solution, consider taking it to a tailor (or you can do it yourself), and just sew them together. Good luck and happy holidays!
