It is reported that a Russian Su-34 was shot down only over the Black Sea. The aircraft attempted to target Odesa and was downed. This marks the fourth Russian Su-34 destroyed in a week.

  8. Everything I am seeing is saying possibly a SU30 not a SU34 if we are talking about the one targeting Odessa.

    There is also supposedly a SU34 downed today as well in the Mauripol direction !

  26. How much info would Russian Air Command have about this loss and the others? Does the aircraft even know what targeted it or just that it’s got an incoming missle and/or radar lighting it up? Does the pilot then need to relay this info back or does the aircraft report data in real time?

    For now they bragging about shooting down 4! uaf jets (magically right after loosing 3 by them selves and not earlier). But, to be fair, even their base auditory doesn’t trust this claims much.

  32. Good to hear. These are truly the best Russia has in this category. The bold use of Patriots in such a manner is largely unprecedented.

    The system is not particularly quick to move and its radar shines like a beacon to detectors. Good luck hitting it though.
