Not sure if this has been posted here before but I wanted to share. It includes a Republican and loyalist ex prisoner who are interviewed throughout the doc, neither of whom regret any of their crimes, which I personally think makes it more interesting. What do you bros think?

  1. As someone from England that’s been living near Derry for the past five years it was pretty eye opening. I was casually aware of what happened without knowing much of the details – it’s not something covered in schools in England (maybe because they weren’t exactly the good guys).

I didn’t sympathise with either of the interviewees, but I was better able to rationalise why they (the uvf) in particular may have been wanting to be on that side rather than a republican, but I don’t condone what happened in any case

  2. It’s Christmas Eve mate. Take a night off and relax

  3. Like a majority of people in Northern ireland, i grew up with family effected directly or indirectly. Prison for some, shot dead for walking in the wrong part of town, kidnapped extorted…. just scum on both sides doing whatever they wanted without any justice.

you hear people talking about the UDA, IRA etc like they were fucking hero’s or freedom fighters. Just scum, that sell drugs these days and run woman. They get to have a life, the rest of us have to live with the mess they made and keep making.

Line them all up and let them taste what its like with some justice, the way they dealt it out to others.
