Note: Even with pressing the button beforehand, the pedestrians in Germany would still have a red light crossing parallel to the cars.

  1. When you have an arrowed green light, you will most likely not encounter any traffic you have to yield to. However, the adjacent intersection exit you are turning to may also have a green light for pedestrians so you have to stop and let them pass before continuing.

    When you have a green light with no arrows, the same applies (as above), but you may also encounter traffic you have to yield to, especially if turning left – you’d have to give the right of way to those going straight.

    That’s about it.
