  4. Baring the personal tragedy. War is tough. Israel can’t broker a peace regardless of the fate of the prisoners of war. They need to fight until they get a unilateral, unconditional surrender. Otherwise this is not ever over. I apologize to the families who obviously want their loved ones reunited unharmed, but they are martyrs and will be remembered so this doesn’t happen again.

    The stick is that Israel will continue the war and Hunt these people down no matter where they’re at. But you have too remember they are cowards that always send others too die, not themselves.

    The carrot is they live but Hamas probably ends as a entity that holds power in Gaza. A new government will probably be put in place that’s Palestinian but not Hamas. Hamas will be driven underground. These people get too live but with greatly diminished power.

He was the one who freed Sinwar and has kept him on a no kill list forever in furtherance of a cynical ploy to use Hamas to keep Fatah in check. This is the worst possible plan. Just keep the war going until these guys are dead.

  30. I like the idea where they tell Hamas leaders all but one of them can survive. Then they have to determine which one dies and how.
