I don’t pray. I vote blue, in *every* election. And anyone who wants to keep our republic needs to do the same.

All those times Christian groups pray for some political end and fail, do they ever wonder why God didn’t side with them? Do they ever wonder if they were on the wrong side of that issue?
Yet another example of misguided rural/working class grievance politics dressing itself up in the hollowed-out skin of Christianity. If these folks took a critical, material lens to the trends causing a breakdown in their values and communities, they’d gravitate towards the economic left pretty quickly if it wasn’t for how deeply the ideal of rugged individualism has permeated our society.

We keep complaining that we don’t have 3rd party options, but if the Green Party had followed the model of Christian Nationalists they may have been a serious voice in our political system instead of being the narcissistic assholes that brought us the Iraq war.
Look at how the Moral Majority Christian Nationalists entered politics after they raged about losing federal tax dollars because of their racism.
They started with dog catcher and the school board – now they made it to VP, the Supreme Court, and the head of Congress.
