1. Fuck the church.

2. Churches shouldn’t have any say about who gets married to begin with.

3. It would suprise me if the greek of all people don’t support it.

4. It’s not just the church though. New Democracy, the governing party, has a lot of people within its ranks that also are against same sex marriage. If the law goes to parliament, it’s pretty likely there will be a small party rebellion at least.

5. Governments should not be controlled by the churches and a churches opinion should matter in politics on a level lower than snake shit. Religion is fine to practice but should not be wielded as a moral sword of righteousness to oppress opinions of people who do not worship the same.
