For a long time I have felt this has been NATO strategy all along. Let Russia waste itself on Ukraine. The lingering the fight goes the weaker Russia is.

I wonder if the prisoner swaps being paused makes them more likely to surrender, since they don’t think they’ll immediately be thrown back into the meat-grinder again
