  1. How exactly will a ceasefire resolve the problem? Hamas will just keep its control over Gaza, denying basic needs from the Palestinian people by stealing the money that gets in there to get more weapons and build more tunnels in order to fight Israel, and this cycle will just repeat itself all over again, with way more casualties in the long run.

Just a reminder that there was a ceasefire set on the day of the attack and Hamas chose to break it, what exactly will stop them from doing it again after they rearmed?

The only thing that will actually help the Palestinian people is the takedown of Hamas and the uprise of another organization in Gaza that seeks peace instead of war.

  2. Sorry Pope, we are Jews not Christians, we dont believe in turning the other cheek.

  3. Very none relevant leader of a different group of people to be giving suggestions.

I wonder what the captain of the local bowls club here thinks about the situation?

  4. I don’t think he realises how little people outside of the Catholic church value their opinion on anything.

  5. “Pope says Jews should lay down and die like 1940s”

    Jews say

“Na we got big army now fuck off”

    Also –

Y’all see all those Ukrainian soldiers getting ripped out of their brains with their gas masks with the new legal weed? That’s some Christmas spirit I can get behind.

  6. Pope should pay all those kids the church abused millions and millions of dollars.

  7. Old tard doesn’t have the balls to call for terrorists to surrender.

  8. I used to think this was the new “cool” pope, but he can fuck off.

  9. How many radical islamists is the Vatican going to take in?

  10. I remember reading one of these articles and he (the Pope) talks about “what I am hearing about Gaza” and stuff like that—

You gotta remember that most of the world is just hearing stuff and assuming it’s reality.

I still like this pope, I just wish people didn’t take every headline and TikTok at face value.

  11. Does the Pope know Hamas and PIJ have rejected a ceasefire? I think he is directing this at the wrong people.

  12. The world cried for a ceasefire in 2008 2011 2012 2014 and 2021 Look where it gotten us now…
    Literally the definition of madness.

  13. Israel offered a ceasefire. Hamas said no. When will people get it through their heads?

This could all be over tomorrow, or it could go on for the next 500 years.

  14. Well, let’s see if Hamas listens to the pope and doesn’t break ceasefire this time

  15. While his clergy continues to rape children. Fuck him and everything he represents.

  16. While the daily shelling of russsia to Ukrainian civilians are OK, right pope?

  17. The Pope calling for a ceasefire between two non-Christian Abrahamic forces that have bad histories with the Catholic church is crazy.

  18. Does he know Hamas would kill him instantly if given the chance?

  19. Well, Hamas just refused one so I guess more deaths will come, and the blood is 100% on Hamas. When you fight a terrorist organization that hides behind civilians, as Hamas takes pride in doing, civilians will die, also something Hamas takes great pride and joy in happening.

  20. Why doesn’t he take in some refugees from gaza into the Vatican

  21. Where is the call for them to release all their hostages?

  22. I wish he’d spend more time calling for the release of the hostages instead. Maybe I’d have a little respect for him then…

  23. A ceasefire is horrible for the Palestinian people. What will change with a ceasefire? Nothing. There will be time to supply proper humanitarian aid to Gaza and maybe things will get better for a while. Until the next time Hamas decides to attack. And the next, and the next, and the next. As long as the status quo stays, innocent Palestinians will continue to die. And eventually another October 7th will come.
This is heartbreaking. Everything about this is heartbreaking and I don’t understand how people don’t see the only way to stop it is destroying Hamas. Is Israel really expected to sit down and let its people die in the hands of Hamas and just not do anything?

  24. The Pope has called for a ceasefire so he is now an anti-semetic terrorist who supports hamas /s

  25. The only thing this dickhead should be doing is catching the molesters and pedo’s in his club – and having them castrated.

If the bitch can’t clean up his own stable, he shouldn’t be weighing in on big world problems.

  26. And in order to help all these desperate people, he volunteers to take in thousands of wounded Palestinian children and let them live in the Vatican….

….. Oh, wait. He didn’t actually say that?

  27. I deplore the desperate humanitarian situation of sex abuse, cover ups by the catholic clergy and church. I also deplore the strategic silo-ing of resources into small “independent” franchises that allow for strategic bankruptcy to avoid paying victims by the catholic clergy.

I call for an immediate ceasing of the Catholic Church’s sexual abuse, cover ups, and attempts to avoid compensating the victims. I call for the Catholic church to immediately release the names of the clergy members accused of sexually assaulting or abusing children.

The catholic diocese of my city declared bankruptcy right before Christmas due to 250 credible allegations of child sexual assault by catholic clergy that the catholic church knew about solely in my city. I call for the international Catholic Church to pay the victims.

Morally bankrupt, deplorable institution has no right to make judgment calls about anything while they are protecting child r*pists, child m*lesters, and child abusers.

To be clear, the situation in Gaza is horrendous. Calling for a cease fire while Hamas still has hundred plus hostages is premature. Especially from an institution that has massacred both Jews and Muslims, multiple times. Look at Catholic institutional support of fascism and the holocaust. Look at the Catholic institutional support (at least initially) for the invasion of iraq and Afghanistan.
