He was found without a colar or tags, the one visible in the picture is one of my own
I found a dog in East Belfast a couple of years ago, took it to the vet to get it’s microchip scanned but it didn’t have one. If it doesn’t have a collar it likely doesn’t have a chip but it’s worth a try. In the end I just walked the dog around where I found it until the owner saw me by chance and came over to ask for him. They weren’t grateful though and accused me of stealing him.
I’d try putting up posters before handing him in anywhere if you can, it’s their fault for not having a collar on him but it’s still sad for somebody to lose their dog.
Found his owner and he’s on his way home.
