  6. Black history courses wouldn’t be necessary if the teaching of black history was properly integrated with general history courses. Sadly often it is not so, thus necessitating the separate courses

  11. Stupid. What exactly does this accomplish? History lesson number 1 is you can’t stop people from getting information. History lesson number 2 is when you try whatever you are trying to stop happens faster and stronger. These people are going to end up as someone else’s history lesson.

  13. Not for nothing, but Black History is really interesting and kids are going to be cheated out of an important part of their education. I don’t see how anyone can be considered “well educated” without a good grasp of Black History.

Watch what they do with labor laws. First they’ll rollback child labor protections. Then they’ll come for the unions. The end goal is domination not vanity.

  36. Lucky for us there is a long history of amplification of materials that are banned from schools. You tell kids they can’t learn that black people exist many will seek it out. Right wing terrorist adjacent people are the worst and history will remember what they did.
