Grateful I mean you know to have somebody think about us elderly people outside Guilford and across the country there are hundreds of thousands of people without a permanent place to live this Christmas homelessness at a record high this year we’ve seen an increase in the amount of homelessness

And the increase in the amounts of families who are threatened with homelessness because of the cost of living squeeze the are finding it really difficult at this Center in Manchester they’re providing some Ras bite and relief Merry Christmas I’d be alone in my room without a dinner not feeling great not feeling

Levels of homelessness in England this Christmas are likely to be 14% higher than last year, according to analysis by Shelter.

Sky’s Mollie Malone has been visiting The Big Cook in Surrey, where they are trying to spread a bit of Christmas cheer as the number of homeless people is expected to have increased significantly.
