I think what is missing from these charts is an estimate or war contribution.
The use of jets, bombs, missiles, tanks, munitions are kicking the levels up beyond the natural disasters (I.e. forest fires, etc.).
Between Ukraine/Russia and Mideast, there is an additional layer of things increasing temperatures.
The problem is a) frequentist stats versus Baysian stats, b) excluding outliers that prove the other point of view and c) weird time intervals i.e. data selection.
In other words: yes there is most likely an acceleration!
