Wait, so Color Purple “triumphs” with $18m but Aquaman “sinks” with $40m?!
I know comic movies have insane huge budgets, but I’m my impression is these articles are 99% clickbait hyperbole preaching to the choir that feeds whatever narrative that people want to read online.
If I owned a movie theater l, I’d be much happier with Aquaman bringing in over twice as many customers buying twice as many concessions.
Makes me also I wonder how many “The Color Purple” action figures or t-shirts were wrapped up under the Christmas tree. Could it be the Aquaman bad press is to cook the books to make it look like it’s loosing money so execs don’t have to pay out, when ultimately it’s still profitable?
High School Musical the Musical the Series has entered the chat. And pissed on its grave.
As a guy I was not thrilled to see it but it’s not as hardcore as the first one and the singing is superb.
