These illegal settlements are a gaping hole in any moral high ground Israel tries to claim, and the fact that the government has ignored them for so long is both immoral and shit PR.

Every current settlement in Outremer is technically illegal because it hasn’t been sanctioned by the kingdom of Jerusalem.
Tis but a drop in the bucket. Wasn’t there in place subsidies from the government to build settlements in the first place?
Still remember when a “nomatic” Palestinian had his herd of olive trees bulldozed to make room for settlers. I didn’t matter that he had in possession a deed to the land that was decades old (pre dated the state of Israel itself). It that kind of shit that feeds resentment and violence.

I’m glad they are starting the work of dismantling settlements. Hope it continues. They don’t help Israel, make civilians of all sorts unsafe, and takes protective forces away from higher priorities.
Even though Israel does this, I don’t think it will affect anything in terms of there being peace. Hamas and Hezbollah are literal Iranain proxys made to cause havoc on Israel.

Two down, around 275 to go. Approximately 700 000 settlers are living illegally in the West Bank.
This is so fucking ridiculous, the world should be ashamed for forcing Israel to beat its own people who are simply trying to exist and facilitating Abbas’s ethnic cleansing of West Bank Israelis
