Hmmmm… Catherine Tate did an amazing Belfast accent on her show. Tbf his point of reference was the accents in Sons of Anarchy. In comparison he did better. Parts of South Belfast and Hollywood are a lot different from other areas. I know someone that moved from Derry to south Belfast. She now sounds quite posh. Still an incredibly nice person, but ditched the Derry accent. There are different accents within Belfast. Parts of South Belfast and Hollywood are a lot different from other areas. I know someone that moved from Derry to south Belfast. She now sounds quite posh. Still an incredibly nice person, but ditched the Derry accent.
