8. Two somewhat misunderstood things about Charles Manson, the guy had absolutely zero chance of leading a relatively normal life from the get-go….an absolutely shockingly awful start to life. I’m surprised some of the lads I went to school with didn’t graduate to his levels of infamy and awfulness, with the shite they put up with as kids…also, perhaps surprisingly, he never actually killed anyone.

14. Very interesting family. She had a career in major films for most of a century. Her grandfather was a major socialist reformer who for a time was leader of the Labour Party. Her brother-in-law was Peter Ustinov, another cinematic giant whose career lasted most of a century.
