  1. The Russians can create another mass unacknowledged grave of wasted Russian resources thrown at the Ukrainians ? I’m sure the people are ready to sign the fuck up.

  2. Zalusny has recently distanced himself from Zelensky. He did not endorse the recent announcement of changes to military call up. There is a tacit alliance of Zalushny and Klitshko on one side and Zelensky on the other. The former two more willing to acknowledge that the situation will only deteriorate and time for negotiations.

  3. I mean, Bakhmut defense ended with Prigo’s march on Moscow, him getting blown up and dissolution of Wagner PMC.

  4. A lot of people here talking about russian losses due to the Bakhmut situation, but aren’t even remembering the Ukrainian losses…

  5. Zaluzhny should get whatever support he needs and requests of Ukraine’s partners, allies, and supporters. He has a two-year track record of responsibility with every weapon system that’s been entrusted to Ukraine, and there aren’t many people who could have successfully scaled up the Ukrainian military while simultaneously replacing all Soviet platforms with NATO platforms, the way he has done. Under his leadership, Ukraine has proven themselves, and proven they deserve all the support we can give them.

  6. Unlike Bakhmut Ukraine should give up Avdiivka when it becomes untenable. Bakhmut cost them too much and they lost a lot of good troops there trying to hold Russia. It’s not worth holding if it leaves you hamstrung later, and end of the day Russia doesn’t really seize towns. They raze them to the ground and proclaim victory over rubble.
