  4. We played this game last time of “who’s really running the show?” The answer is that Trump was sort of running the show and firing everyone that disagreed with him. So even if Trump didn’t actually know all of what was going on, he’d simply fire anyone that he thought was not doing what he wanted even if what he wanted changed twenty times a day. He would throw tantrums when he couldn’t fire people. Stephen Miller is a groveling worm to Trump and so he’ll probably come back, but he’s not going to secretly run the White House. Dementia combined with narcissism and whatever is on Fox News will be running the White House.

    I wish mainstream media would do more to connect the dots on Trump’s increasingly fascist rhetoric and this guy’s rise (by default – everybody else has either bailed or been arrested, but still). If there’s a second Trump term, he’s going to play a major role, and it’s going to be extremely dangerous.
