A strategic rural land grab by rightwing extremists is taking place across Germany with the concerted aim of creating communities independent of the state, according to the domestic intelligence agency and government ministries.
Authorities and NGOs monitoring far-right groups say the members of the Reichsbürger movement who reject the post-1945 German state are making a targeted effort to establish parallel societies and infiltrate existing structures including schools, clubs and public offices.
Lets be real that in Germany anything even an inch towards the right, makes the authority scream ‘Far Right’.
Darn. I don’t like land grabs from the German far right

Eastern Germany feels left behind. In some areas, doctors, pharmacies and shops went away and elderly remain, people full of fear, regret and a wish for good old times.
Here we go again…
Those are Reichsbürger. Some of them are far-right but not the majority. They are their own disgusting category.
So basically a gated community? What else is new?
It sounds like these groups have taken partial inspiration from the Sovereign Citizen Movement, which is frightening on its own, coupled with their apparent desire to overthrow the Post 45 German state
They have a king and idiots that think they are reincarnations of angels.
They reject modern medicine and literally want to go back to the medieval dark ages.
They are growing in number but won’t ever unseat them German republic. The real danger is in them bending the national discourse to the right.
Zero information voters.
Is it actual far right or is it “far right” according to left wing journalists and redditors lmao
I wonder if the general sentiment in this thread would’ve been the same if the article had been about landgrabbing to form an anarchist or hippie commune.
I no longer expect anything good from the world. Current reality is bad. Alternatives are also terrible.
Reichsbürger are Idiots. The frightening landgrabbing started in the 90s with Neonazis moving to small villages, driving out “normal” people and founding “national freed zones”, with more Nazis moving into the villages. You can find these villages all across east Germany.
So people pool their money to buy farms and live there? The horror!
*”To this end the KRD already issues its own passports and has its* ***own currency,*** *the* ***Engelgeld (angel money),*** *and bank.”*
*”People are encouraged to part with their money in exchange for* ***Engelgeld*** *and are then unable to change it back, they say.”*
Bruh this sounds like some scuffed version of a crypto-ruggpull💀
– Buy my coin dude it will go to the moon
This has been happening for decades now. And its only getting worse. We currently have a few farmers that are protesting under the flag of the Rural People’s Movement in the north. For those that dont know, those were right wing terrorists in 30s.
They make it very clear, which side they are on. This is not a flag you stumble upon without knowing what it stands for. The rise and radicalisation of the right is horrifying. Im just glad my grandparents dont have to see this happening again.
>properties are being snapped up and used by the rightwing groups for everything from living space to birthing houses

That is nice that they have females of child bearing age. I assume they have females. Or will find some.

>The self-governing KRD was established in 2012 by Fitzek, a former cook and karate teacher, on the grounds of an old hospital in Wittenberg, Saxony Anhalt. Fitzek had himself crowned “Peter I” in a ceremony complete with sceptre, orb, ermine gown and crown.

Where there’s a cult, there’s a king.

Intelligence authorities have described the offering as a “huge scam.” People are encouraged to part with their money in exchange for Engelgeld and are then unable to change it back, they say.

What is the interest rate at Bank of Cult?

>Fitzek, who considers himself to be the reincarnation of the Archangel Uriel

And, the cult must have a religious component, because religion is useful.
Oop, they’ve come out with the Old Prussian flags. Never go full Prussian.
It sounds like some shitty HOI 4 mod LOL.
It’s quite frustrating seeing symbols of the old Germany, such as the Prussian flag being taken by the far right and twisted…
Why do these freaks always worship Prussia and the German empire? They lost! I guess it’s just losers admiring losers.
the roaring twenties back at it again.
Im sure they’re the #1 threat to German democracy and liberal values, nothing else to worry about lmao
Every time I feel bad about the mistakes and wrong decisions I made in life, I read about Reichsbürgerung and how delusional they are.
I mean: Imagine some dude comes across and claims to be the king of a freakin country and people believe him and send him all their money and gift them their properties. The KRD even has a „constitution“ and if you read it (I doubt the supporters are smart enough to do that) you realize that this is a 100% dictatorship that doesn’t even pretend to be democratic. They claim to support this system until their „king“ made some unpopular decisions and they literally started a coup where they demanded more democracy. You can’t make that up
Far-right extremist = anyone who disagrees with me about anything. It’s surreal hearing the “gas the Jews” left accusing everyone else of being Nazis.
About Time
#DONT TOUCH THE GREAT PRUSSIAN FLAG FUCKING NAZI.
Purchasing properties is not a land grab.
“People with fringe political views buy houses sometimes” is a more accurate headline.
sounds like bullshit and will be used as an excuse to crack down on democratic freedom and freedom of expression , they seem to be preparing a narrative for that to come.
