Xitter has one main bubble now, money=speech paid blue checks. It works like this. People send money to Elon Musk to get the best positions for their replies. Then Elon gives them a bonus. Every time someone clicks on a reply then clicks back, they go back to the top and have to rummage through the same blue checks a second time.
I don’t know if I can trust a politician who doesn’t stare at their phone all day refreshing to comments under an intentionally inflammatory post. Does this guy even know what politicians are supposed to do? You’re not here to develop legislation; You are here to entertain me on social media! Post some rage bait or else resign!

That lasted about a week.
I don’t miss it.
I deleted it back when Musk bought it. It was a cesspool that only got worse.
I deleted it a couple years ago and saw an immediate improvement in my life.
Pro-tip: Threads isn’t turning out to be much better. It’s the worst of Facebook algorithms *combined* with Twitter’s instant toxicity. I’ve engaged with it briefly and experienced PTSD from the worst of both platforms, which I left a long time ago.
Can someone please create a social media platform that I can keep up with friends without it manipulating me in some nefarious way for engagement? I’m good with seeing ads, but just don’t intentionally feed me outrage in exchange for clicks/scrolls.
