Liz Truss faces fresh criticism for failing to set up new LGBT+ advisory panel nearly nine months on

  1. Gay marriage laws passed while Cameron was PM, despite the fact that most Tories voted against them. This is also the party that has seen people quit equality and diveristy commissions because they were not listened to and were seemingly hired to make it look like the Tories were serious about diversity. Truss won’t set one up any time soon because no one in the Tories is serious about setting them up.
