South African here. Number 9 is inaccurate. We just call them ‘robots’. As in “Go down the street, turn left at the robot and it’s on your right.” No one calls them traffic robots.
Overmorrow technically comes from Norse as you can still see in Danish “overmorgen” (silent g) which simply means “the day after tomorrow”. Bit weird a word for that day doesn’t exist in English since that day is often referred to in daily speak. I speak 5 languages and English is the only one of them that doesn’t have a 1-word equivalent.
