25. The only thing that seems strange to me is that people are finding this to be so unusual. We are currently in El Nino conditions, these events are more common during an El Nino. Storm surges happen all the time in the southeast during hurricane season. I lived in a coastal Southern California town during the 97/98 El Nino & we had coastal flooding, large storm surge waves then too.
