Eurostar trains cancelled amid wind, rain and snow warnings

    Not really the weather then. Just our usual terrible infrastructure.

  2. I was on the fence about attempting train -> train -> eurostar to Paris next weekend… or taxi -> flight. After being two hours delayed coming up north before Christmas due to “things on the overhead lines” and now this the taxi option is much more tempting

  3. Yet more evidence trains are a shambles.

    Plenty of aircraft leaving LHR today.

  4. Most of the issues on the ‘normal’ trains today appear to be staffing-related and crew shortages.

    LNER are cancelling a load of stuff that isn’t Edinburgh<->London and some of those trains are making extra stops to compensate. But it does appear largely to be crew related and that should improve in the coming days.
