  11. He’s not interested in democracy. He’s interested in power. If shouting “But democracy!” helps him take power, he’ll shout “But democracy!”.

    If you want to confirm that he doesn’t give a fuck about democracy, just ask him (or any Republican) if he’s ok with getting rid of the Electoral College and letting the votes of the people decide who becomes POTUS.

  12. Barring him and those like him, specifically oath breakers, is protecting democracy. It’s like the irony that the only intolerance a tolerant society should tolerate is intolerance. You cannot elect people who have shown through their actions that they will undermine democracy.
