Every new years eve I bring home made tiramisu to my friends party (Italians please don‘t come after me this is a very loose German interpretation of Tiramisu). I put pear & apple compote with walnuts in, layer with biscoff cookies and there is lots of cinnamon in the cream. We love it!

I like the sound of that! Apples, cinnamon, walnuts – very nice for the season. You could call it a winterliches Schichtdessert but it just doesn’t have the same ring to it as tiramisu.
