But does that information need to be presented as gross climate impact, or net climate impact? If they go with net, and companies are allowed to factor in things like carbon offsets (which we all know don’t do anything), companies will basically be given a go-ahead to drastically understate their environmental impact.
This is great. The time to measure and disclose pollution to the SEC is long overdue.
