2. Shit, here we go. I don’t think the “unwritten rules of engagement” are going to last long. Israel is going to be pulled into a northern front whether it wants one or not.

   The Simchat Torah War, or Iron Swords War, or however it ends up being remembered, may go on for a long time.

8. Demilitarizing up to the Litani river was the conditions of peace from the last Lebanon war. If Lebanon won’t abide by the terms of that agreement and continues attacking Israel from Lebanon, it’s fair game for Israel to bomb Lebanon, at least in the south.
