  1. Q is why a league rival? ig the answer is no one else would pay lol

  2. No space for him to do this at City. Love the lad but he had to leave to spread his wings

  3. We got good value for him and he’s getting the playing time he wanted; it’s a good trade for all parties involved.

  4. In fairness, he almost never looked like this when playing with us.

    Oscar Bobb is the future.

  5. Gotta love the guy! But remember he played alongside KDB, Gundo, Haaland, and Grealish… learned a lot in this club and we should take credit for.

Glad he scored in both Shield and Super cup to pump his price too. Won’t mind getting him back if there’s room for him to start.

  6. I feel the same way. He is Chelsea’s best player, showing that he was probably worthy of more game time at City. He may not have Grealish’s control, but he’s a more consistent goal threat than Grealish. It also seemed like he could have filled the role that Mahrez once had on the right wing.

I understand him getting frustrated at being an understudy at City and he made the right decision to leave considering how much he is likely to have increased his career earnings compared to the peanuts he was getting paid at City. In any case, the fee Chelsea paid for him now looks way too low considering the fees paid for the likes of Mudryk, Caicedo and Enzo.

  7. Didn’t he opt to leave despite being told with Mahrez gone, that he’d play more regularly? We only bought Doku because Palmer made it known to Pep he wanted out.

  8. It’s a confidence thing. He wouldn’t be balling this freely with absolute crazy talent pool we have. It’s like that, damned if you do, damned if you don’t. We didn’t let him go for free.

  9. Miss Cole. I liked the kid since day 1. Wanted to see a future with Foden & Palmer as the academy prodigies leading the team. At least we got Rico and Bobb.

  10. He wanted to leave, so… There wasn’t much we could do.

  11. I always rated Cole, but he just wasn’t going to get in our team and especially not in the midfield role. Its great to see him doing well but no-one expected him to be the main at Chelsea and yeah we do wish he would’ve stayed with us considering the form he’s in, but hindsight is a great thing. Wish him all the best (just not when he plays us in the future!)

Also whilst on the topic of youngsters, Bobb… He is HIM! Can’t wait to see more of him.

  12. As long as Chelsea are shit I’ll root for him being one of the bright spots, if they start putting things together though….

  13. If you truly love someone you should be willing to let them go

  14. Hes thriving in a midtable team.

    We’re World Champions.

    Levels.

  15. I look at him and I look at Bobb and I don’t see how we’ve lost in any way.

  16. Sometimes players need to step down to a smaller level to help realise their potential, and that’s exactly what Coles done so big respect to him. It’s nice to see Mancunians doing well!
