I fear that Russia can tolerate losing for longer than Ukraine can tolerate winning. I think that Russia simply needs to hold ground. Ukraine must undertake the bloody task of rooting out an entrenched enemy, taking that ground, and then holding it against eventual counterattack. Russia has the bodies and the munitions, however obsolete. Ukraine has neither of those luxuries. I hope the US sends more aid, yesterday, and Ukraine can continue to fight.
