I’ve been watching The Architecture The Railways Built. They did an episode on the station that is right there. They are turning the underground tram into a museum.
A friend of mine was one of just two people to survive a fall from that bridge. His chute failed to open when BASE jumping. he pulled his legs up and crossed his arms automatically to eject the main and pull the reserve, it protected his body just enough to survive.
He sadly died in his 40s of injuries sustained fixing a leaky toilet.
There is a message in there about living your life to the full.
my dog used to chase people on a bike a lot. it got so bad, finally i had to take his bike away.
