>The building had been acquired by the Dublin Regional Homeless Executive for accommodating families presenting as homeless.
‘’Housing activists’’ cheer as they burn down another building!
‘Let’s look after our own first”
Well done smooth brains.
Céad míle ~~fáilte~~ tine.
This is just shameful, what kind of country have we become?
So the landlord changed their minds last minute after the protests. Wondering why it took all the journos all morning to form their spin.
So If I want my building burnt down , I just need to start a rumour?
Imagine if the authorities had made it known beforehand in a completely clear and unambiguous manner in local media.
Part of the trouble is how foggy the messaging is by various government departments and local authorities.
Any place earmarked for housing should now be watched by garda once they whip 1 or 2 cunts doing this people will think twice.
Are we just going to keep ignoring the far right in this country and give them a hands off approach? Its like we have to wait for them to start burning down buildings with families in them before anyone gets held accountable.

How much longer will Fine Gael and the Gardaí pursue this “hands off” approach to policing the far right? Were lucky they haven’t killed anyone yet, will that be what it takes?
The only person of any relevance and/or influence on the far right that has gotten in trouble for literally anything is Graham Carey, and that’s only because he was thick enough to directly threatened the Gardaí. Meanwhile the rest of these people, like Derek Blighe and Philip Dwyer are free to do what they like and cause all this.
It’s amazing how all the accounts always saying “just ignore the far right and they will go away”, seem to go quiet around all these arson attacks.
If it was a false rumour, it was one started and spread by Sine Feins Chris Andrews. He told locals 80 single migrant men were being housed in the area. And the lease was set for 10 years.
People shouldn’t be burning down accommodation that could be used for homeless Irish people. But the government should also listen to local objections and concerns about asylum seekers accommodation instead of just labeling anyone against it far right or racist.
Downvote me all you like or call me a racist but these matters have to be communicated from the government to the people of Ireland instead of random rumours and accommodation randomly popping up without consultation.
