  1. On the one hand, I understand the slap on the face for russia that this letter delivers. On the other hand, is it not better to deliver that slap in person and rebuke russian disinformation by confronting it?

    Unfortunately, the UN is pretty useless in enforcing of any law and order, but it’s still an effective platform for russia to gain legitimacy for its actions. We need more voices on that platform to deny russia that legitimacy.

  11. Czechia apparently has the strength of character and backbone to tell the truth. More countries need to stand up in a similar way and promote an end to Russian (Putin) aggression. I’m not convinced we can really blame Russian people as they have a thinly disguised dictatorship embodied in Putin. Failing to support Ukraine will be something everyone pays dearly for at some point in the future.
