Saw a post asking if Calvin Philips potentially being an option. The post was met with an astounding NOPE from most culers. Now that [Dybala’s release clause is €13m](https://romapress.net/dybalas-release-clause-to-become-active-tomorrow/#:~:text=The%20release%20clause%20will%20apply,%E2%82%AC3%2D5%20million).) I wonder if his salary would be even reasonable tbh, is this something we could entertain?

[Philips post I mentioned](https://www.reddit.com/r/Barca/s/F0vrIpdgQF).
Good player but not super sure if he’d fit into the system.
Good player but riddled with injuries.
$13 million for an injury prone attacking mid? No thanks, we already have Pedri. We need a DM and a LW that can actually dribble before we think of luxury signings.
Nah, he aint Spanish.😅🤣✌
He was my favourite player by far in 2017-18 but he is injury prone now. First priority should be DM, a world class winger and one more midfielder.Once we get all these in the next season(wishful thinking) he can be a great bench option for sure
This post has the same energy as the Kalvin Phillips post, it’s equally as stupid— makes no sense for Barcelona unless you know nothing about football.
