  1. This wandering about waving a burning stick like one of the loonies in the Omega Man stuff just weirds me out tbh, all very dark ages which became trendy in the grim EU era 90s the whacks running Edinburgh forcibly try to keep us in, still at least the heat keeps 'em warm i guess.
    Happy New Year Brexit Britain.

  2. Well no more fireworks from the castle as taking too much dmg over the years atleast good to still have a tradition especially in these messed up times…🤍♠️

  3. Hogmanay.
Some suggest it may have come from the Old French word hoguinané, referring to a New Year's gift, others that is comes from the Gaelic og maidne which means 'new morning' or a Gaelic derivation from haugmenn, the Icelandic word for 'hill-men', or elves, who banished trolls into the sea.

  4. Let’s see a ‘protester’ raise a flag amongst the Scot’s tonight, don’t fancy their chances much.

  5. WTF. Why & what for? Don’t quite understand this celebration on the 29th of December or what it is about. I stay In Edinburgh but have no idea what this means or what it has to do with new year celebrations 3 days beforehand! ✌️👍✌️. Happy New Year To one & All. 🎉
