The picture was taken from one of the hills overlooking Turin, the capital of Piedmont, Italy.
It features the [Basilica of Superga](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basilica_of_Superga) and the Monviso (one of the peaks of the Cottian Alps)

Fun fact, went to a coffee bar for a coffee before work yesterday , this guy with a dog comes in and the bar owner says “Here he is, the VIP of the moment”. I didnt pay much attention, just had my coffee and read the newspaper a bit and just before paying I asked the onwer “so, who was that VIP you were talking about before?”. “Oh he’s the guy who took that award winning photo , Valerio Minato”. Doggy was nice too, she was called Polenta.
is that a big mountain far behind, or what?
Damn, what a cool idea!
Can someone explain what’s going on with the moon, fotos, and perspective?
i understand that our perceived size of the moon depends on a few things. but whenever I take a foto of the moon, it looks like a small pea. this one looks like it’s huge.
what am i missing?
Wow. That’s gorgeous.
Wow, I would’ve swear that’s photoshop.. Great photo!!
