London gears up for New Year’s Eve fireworks spectacle

It was it was that I put that FR they get those a stick before they get to us 18 was it yeah yeah 18 so we’re privileged here to be loading and rigging the largest display in the country for New Year’s Eve in London um we’ve got nearly 12,000 individual

Fireworks which we’re loading onto these three barges uh they weigh close to 5 ton and we’ve got over 30 ton of equipment that um our 20 crew here need to load we start work on the 27th and uh we should be finished hopefully tomorrow when all the bges will go up to the

River and uh ready for that midnight moment this year’s show is close to 12 minutes long um it’s uh I think it’s got a a good eclectic mix of Music in there something for everybody showing off the diversity of London and just a celebration um really and um hopefully

Everybody will enjoy the show and and um Good Luck to a Happy New Year yeah ready make for

London geared up for the UK’s biggest New Year’s Eve firework display, with workers preparing for the celebration that will ring in 2024.

Workers loaded fireworks onto the three barges they will be launched from, with nearly 12,000 fireworks set to regale Londoners.

“This year’s show is close to 12 minutes long. I think it’s got a good eclectic mix of music in there, something for everybody, showing off the diversity of London and just a celebration, really,” Darryl Fleming of Titanium Fireworks said.

  1. Why do we still insist on exploding gunpowder into the atmosphere when everybody and his dog is jumping up and down about climate change? What's wrong with lazer shows?

  3. Waiting to see what kind of tribute they will make to the Palestinians. Maybe some kind of Palestinian flag colours bursting display with “Hamas Rules” skywriting with lighted synchronized drones.
