  2. This sits really wrong with me. The concept of two-tiered system of citizenship is unfair. We can’t be using loss of citizenship as an extra punishment for some, but not for others. If a guy born and raised in Dublin joined ISIS would we strip him of citizenship too? The only exception I would make is if there was some serious fraud during the application process. Grouping this in with an oath of loyalty is dubious, because at the time he may have been loyal, and only later radicalized. Again, an Irish guy who commits treason wouldn’t be treated the same, because we don’t just make people stateless.

  3. Have to create a he NGO to help them out as well!
